My 1st pneumococcal vaccination

Wednesday, 28.10.2009..

I had my first pneumococcal vaccination today at my age of 7+ months..Prior to that, I also had my routine check-up..

For your info, yours truly is now 8.5kg in weight, 71cm in height and 48cm for the head circumference.. Not that bad huh??(No wonder they always called me chubby!)
Did I tell you that I just cried a little when the doctor jabbed me..? Yes..just a little!..Like mummy always said, Hannah the strong girl..

Anyway, I must say it worth all the acting pain after all since mummy and ayah brought me to Mid Valley right after the drama session..and of course, they had me treated there..

Well..I deserved it clearly, didn't I??..after all the agonies I endured..*sob sob sob..*

That evening we left Mid Valley with me having a NEW book and 3 NEW duckly duck friends..Horayy.. !!

Friday, 23.10.2009...

Like every other day mummy and ayah will pick me up from Acik An's straight after they came back from work..

Also without fail Acik An and mummy will be chit-chatting about only-God-knows-what-topic before mummy call it a day.. They sometimes talked about me too..about my all day activities/progress or my tantrum if there is any (..coz Acik An always puji me such a gooood gurll..thehe..he..he)

Anyway, today seems like a bit different..

Acik An has enlightened mummy on one BIG news, I supposed.. Followed by mummy screaming happily..Ahah.

I must say I was so kepochi eager to know what all the talking was about..So there I was, pretending busy watching the birds at the yard a.k.a eavesdropping..While they busy chit-chatting..

"NAK TAHU TAK...talk..talk..GIGI..talk talk talk..talk..2 BATANG talk talk talk.. talk..AIR LIUR..talk talk talk..DEMAM..talk..talk..MAKAN BISKUT...talk..talk more...horayyyy.."

Obviously it was all ME they were fussing about that evening.. Me with my new TWO BOTTOM FRONT TEETH I guess..

But why must they make such a BIG deal out of it, I really don't understand..ADULT!!

Thehee..hee..he..he.*still smiling with no teeth*

Can you see my two little teeth?? Look closer.. No??? You must have an eye check then..
Me having my time happily at the edge of my bed..but why mummy is screaming at me huh..??!!

First fever..The chronology

15.10.2009, Thursday... (day 1)

Little Hannah already in her deep sleep when mummy realised she was a bit hot than usual. That might explained why she had thrown up earlier..

Mummy finally have to admit that her little girl was having a FEVER!! And this time, it's for real..

..for her first time ever
..for my first time ever as a mother
..after almost 7 months
..at this late at night
..while Ayah gone out-station

Sought for advices..

Mummy just monitored Little Hannah's temperature and did some sponging over her body..

With one HOPE..the fever will be gone soon.



16.10.2009, Friday... (day 2)

She still had the fever..

Mummy took EL today..

Brought Little Hannah to Pusat Rawatan Islam Az-Zahra, Bangi to see one of the pediatrician there..

Hannah been diagnosed for a VIRAL FEVER..Been prescribed few meds..

On the way back, dropped by Acik An's place to get some hot porridge, special made for Little Hannah..

Little Hannah had the porridge half-heartedly, followed by the meds.

The fever still..

Her temperature exceeded 38c most of the time..

Ayah reached home late at night and went to greet her..she just gave him an empty look, not happy nor sad.. Maybe she was trying to tell ayah that she was in pain..

The temperature still high even after she took the meds..

A friend in need is a friend indeed..Little Hannah never left the greeny giraffe regardless her condition..

Mummy just got to know about this amazing little thing..Very useful to clear Hannah's blocked nasal..Mommies out there, do check this out..


17.10.2009, Saturday... (day 3)

Ayah & mummy decided to have a second opinion on Hannah's persisting fever. This time we brought her to Pantai Medical Centre, Bangsar.

In the ER, her temperature once reached nearly 40c..

She had been given the rectal suppository, yet still the temperature increased..Nurse did the sponging..

Little Hannah admitted.

Again, she's been diagnosed for a viral fever..(What kind of virus is this really...!!?)

Little Hannah in ER..
She becomes more clingy than ever..
In her mulut kecik pose..
Fitting in new environment..In her cot..
Lethargic little Hannah is resting..
Little Hannah was accompanied by mummy and Ayah all night long..

Around 4am another rectal suppository inserted, due to high temperature.


17.10.2009, Sunday... (day4)

Little Hannah occasionally catch the fever now ..

The pediatrician came to visit @ noon..Ayah & mummy asked to monitor her condition at home..

Little Hannah been discharged.

A happy little face after been discharged
Still clingy..
Back at home, she caught another high fever..Gave her medicine and also used the rectal suppository to bring down the heat..

That was the last time she had the fever since. Alhamdulillah, praise be to Allah..

But that night, Little Hannah showed another fever symptom..Mummy was scared to death..

Notes..
Alhamdulillah, Little Hannah has fully recovered from the fever, only now come the rashes.. Anyway mummy still grateful..

Should see how she babbling in her husky voice...so sexy.. ; )

Without you..my pinky buai

Monday, 12/10/2009...

Today I carved another history..

I finally managed to sleep without my beloved pinky stinky buai..Yesssss!

And of course, an exhausted body due to a non-stop playing session since evening was indeed a helpful tip..hehe.

After struggling nearly 1 hour by rolling over and over and over...
Changing places from north to south to east and back to the north..
And after all the troubles I caused mummy to safeguard me from falling off the bed..*cheeky face*
Then I found a very nice spot to tenyeh my hidung at to immerse my face into..

Yeah...It was mummy's pillow..A HUGE and PUFFY one compared to my own!

So, the next step was very easy. It didn't take me long at all before I reached mummy's my tranquility..zzzzzz..

FINALLY.

Saturday, 19.09.2009...

Today is the last day of Ramadhan 1430..Like everyone else, my family and I were heading down to the south to celebrate our Eid with the relatives..

We dropped by Tangkak for a while and decided to break fast at one of my Atuk's house.

Being simple kiasu SIMPLE me, I cant force myself into my slumberland without having practically immersed myself into my beloved smelly pinky buai..Should I mention I will never left home without it..? Practically everywhere I go..EVERYWHERE!

It was a double joy for me on that day when I found that the eveready-hook for buaian in Atuk's house was relatively higher than what we have at home..Fuhyoooo...Interesssting!!

So guys, please look at me happily cruising in my beloved smelly pinky buai while they were having their buka puasa..

And...That day I ended up with stay fully awake after all..*proud*
